Bushra Khan - Dancer, Actor, Model

A Cross-Cultural Dance Storyteller

Meet Bushra Khan, a Bangladeshi American dancer who harmonizes her heritage with a 20+ year classical Odissi training to create a dance experience that's a captivating story in itself. With a fusion of Odissi, Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Bhangra, and Jazz, Bushra crafts intricate stories through choreography, formations, and expressions, making her a master of her unique narrative style. Her journey has seen her collaborate with luminaries like A.R. Rahman at the Hollywood Bowl, feature in music videos such as 'Jalebi Baby' by Jalebi Baby, and showcase to Good Morning America with Lilly Singh.

Dancing Beyond Boundaries

Bushra Khan's dance is a bridge between cultures, blending her American nationality with deep-rooted Bangladeshi culture. She channels her first-generation identity into a performance that resonates universally. With a foundation in Odissi and a flair for diverse styles, she crafts compelling dance pieces for films, charities, and competitions. Bushra's performances aren't just movement; they're stories that transcend borders and connect hearts, making her a true maestro of cross-cultural storytelling. Excited to bring to you what Bangladeshi culture means to women of her generation.
